手剎，專業稱呼是輔助制動器，是採用鋼絲拉線連線到後製動蹄上，以對車子進行制動的裝置。 手剎是汽車的重要零部件，可以輔助車輛固定，其結構的合理性直接影響汽車的行駛安全。長期使用手剎會使鋼絲產生塑性變形，由於這種變形是不可恢復的，所以長期使用會降低效用，手剎的行程也會增加。與手剎配套使用的還有回覆彈簧。拉起手剎制動時，彈簧被拉長；手剎鬆開，彈簧回覆原長。長期使用手剎時，彈簧也會產生相應變形。
