　　從我記事時起，我媽媽就常向我提起草原的景象。每個人都有夢想,只不過長大後都會感覺夢想越來越遠離自己,心中的那一點夢,也變得越來越模糊。“天蒼蒼，野茫茫，風吹草低現牛羊。”的詩句，在我上小學前就已經耳熟能詳了。陪伴我去草原以前，媽媽也只去過一次草原，那是在1988年夏天，媽媽陪南方來的朋友們一起去呼和浩特市北郊的昭和草原觀光。媽媽說：草原真美呀，藍藍的天空下，茂密的草場，足有一人高，放眼望去，一望無際，風吹過，綠浪翻滾，像大海的波濤，真是一片綠色的海洋。媽媽的描述，使我從六歲起就對草原充滿嚮往。 直到去年的國慶假期，媽媽第一次帶我去了草原以後，我腦海中草原的印象卻完全變了„„

　　當旅遊車停在了一片只有幾釐米高，更像是一個大草坪一樣的操場時，導遊說：草原到了。我滿懷喜悅的心情被下車時看到的景象迷惑了。問媽媽：這就是草原呀?!怎麼不見風吹草低現牛羊啊!媽媽也顯得很吃驚。如此低矮的草;更沒有潔白的羊群，吃草的馬兒也顯得無精打采。

　　在回家的路上，我想了許多„„是啊，過度的放牧和開墾破壞了草原的美麗，正是人類自己毀壞了我們的家園。
