　　The motivation to succeed comes from the burning desire to achieve a purpose. Napoleon Hill wrote, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve."

　　A young man asked Socrates the secret to success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk with him toward the river. 　　There are no two identical people exist in the world, but most successful people are similar in many ways. Good character is the foundation of success. Confidence offers people courage to overcome difficulties, what’s more, if people believe themselves, they may meet more opportunities that they had never thought about.

　　The second key helps people succeed is honesty. There is no denying that most of friendships are based on honesty and most of businesses are based on friendship. China have a famous story which is about a shepherd boy who wants to play farmers and lie to them a wolf is coming. 　　Beside what I talk about above, I consider that perseverance is an essential personality to people who want to succeed. Everyone will meet problems, but not everyone could insist. In fact, perseverance is another attitude which belongs to optimistic. A famous saying is that difficulty is like a spring which weakens in face of a strong-willed but strengthens in face of a faint-hearted. When people run into problems, as long as they persevere, they will be closed to success.

　　We are always trying to find the way to success, which stands for power, pride and glory. There have been strings of stories of success I was told since I was a child. From then on, I have been fascinated with being successful.

　　What is success? Different people have different opinions towards this question. To start with, some people, such as accountants, workers and so on, are longing for being rich, which allows them buy what they want, and enjoy luxury. They treat it as success. Furthermore, some contestants, such as boxers, are always trying their best to defeat their rivals for success. And once they win, they confirm that they are stronger than others. The last but not the least, there are some other people who enjoy helping others. As a good saying goes, the roses in her hand, the flavor in mine. With helping others, we can also feel satisfactory.
