我沒做過這方面的實驗，只能按對字面的理解進行回答——

是“沉度數越高效果越好”，所謂“沉度數”是指乙醇澄清液高度與總乙醇及甘草流浸膏總高度之比值，這個比值越高效果越好；或表達為澄清液高度與沉降部分高度的比值越高效果越好。

設澄清液高度為a，沉降部分高度為b，總高度為a+b，則

前者的比值為q1=a/（a+b）；

後者的比值為q2=a/b，

兩者表達的含義是一致的。

如當a=8釐米，b=2釐米，則

q1=a/（a+b）=8/10=4/5，

q2=8/2=4；

而當a=6釐米，b=4釐米，則

q1′=a/（a+b）=6/10=3/5，

q2′=6/4=3/2。

於是，q1＞q1′；q2＞q2′。
