髒話，又稱粗口，一些華南方言如粵語、湘語、潮州話等稱為粗口，閩南語稱為歹嘴。為令受話者(或周邊的聆聽者)感到被羞辱或冒犯的用字遣詞。英語中，髒話(profanity)一詞最初含義僅用於表示瀆神、褻瀆神聖，或隨便的提及神的名義(瀆神的說法或賭咒)。
