稀釋（英文：attenuation、dilute ），指在溶液中再加入溶劑使溶液的濃度變小的過程，亦指對某東西的感覺變淡了。

稀釋

稀釋（英語：dilution）指對現有溶液加入更多溶劑而使其濃度減小的過程。在稀釋後溶液的濃度減小，但溶質的總量不變。 例如將1mol（約58.5克）的食鹽（溶質）溶在一升的水（溶劑）中，溶液的體積摩爾濃度為1M，若再加入一升的水，溶液的體積摩爾濃度變為0.5M，但溶液食鹽的總量仍為1mol。
