哺乳期

哺乳期是指產後產婦用自己的乳汁餵養嬰兒的時期，就是開始哺乳到停止哺乳的這段時間，一般長約10個月至1年左右。 《中華人民共和國勞動法》第62條、第63條規定：產期是指女性生產後的90天，哺乳期是指女性生產後至其孩子滿週歲期間。為了保護母嬰健康，降低乳幼兒死亡率，國際上已將保護、促進和支援母嬰餵養作為婦幼衛生工作的一個重要內容。哺乳期保健為指導母乳餵養與哺乳期衛生，包括母乳分泌量、影響乳汁分泌量的因素，餵養方法及乳房護理，乳母飲食、休息、睡眠、斷乳等。
