北京動物園

北京動物園，位於北京市西城區西直門外大街，東鄰北京展覽館和莫斯科餐廳。佔地面積80.05公頃，是中國開放最早、飼養展出動物種類最多的動物園。飼養展覽動物500餘種5000多隻；海洋魚類及海洋生物500餘種10000多尾。每年接待中外遊客600多萬人次，是中國最大的動物園之一，也是一所世界知名的動物園。北京動物園是國家重點公園、國家重點文物保護單位、全國科普教育基地、全國4A級景區。 北京動物園始建於1906年，於1955年正式定名，園內由動物園、植物園、農事試驗三部分組成。 北京動物園分為東、南、北三個區，正門位於東區，北區還設有北京海洋館（需另外購票）。園內有中國特產的珍貴動物大熊貓、金絲猴、東北虎、丹頂鶴等，還有來自世界各地的如非洲黑猩猩、澳洲袋鼠、美洲豹、墨西哥海牛等。
