One day, while walking through the forest, Jessica heard a strange noise. It sounded liked singing. She looked around but she was alone. Then Jessica saw something moving in the bush. Just at that moment, something shot out of the bush and flew around her head.
It wasn't a bird. Why? It was a fairy about the size of Jessica's finger. It was very beautiful with tiny little wings. The fairy said, "Come with me." and pointed to the bush. "I am too big, I can't fit in there."
The little fairy wiggled her nose and Jessica shrank to the same size as the fairy. Behind the bush, Jessica saw a beautiful village that sparkled and shone like a mountain of jewels. "This is where I live," said the fairy. "Would you like to live there with us?" asked the fairy. Just then, Jessica heard her mom calling her.
"Oh, I would love to stay, but my mom is calling me. Can you please make me big again?" So the fairy wiggled her nose and Jessica was big again. Jessica ran home and promised to come and visit the fairy again soon.

A Crazy Criminal
“Don't delay, put him in jail!” said the constable.
“It was a deliberate act of stealing.
He is nothing less than a juvenile delinquent who commits deleterious acts.”
“I don't think his delinquency is the issue,” I replied.
“He committed these crimes while in a state of delirium.
His demeanor is typical of someone who is mentally ill.
We must delve into his mind and find the source of his delusions.
It is a delicate process.”
“All right, we'll do it in your way.” said the constable, losing his patience.
“Let's interview him.”
“Who are you, young man?” I asked the strange boy, raising my eyebrows in curiosity.
“I am a delegate appointed by the President of the United States,” replied the boy.
“He has dispatched me to the Colorado river delta.
I must help the two warring factions to delineate their territories and to establish a fair demarcation line between their realms.”
“Delete those fancy words, boy,” said the constable with a stern voice.
“Don't delude yourself into thinking that you're someone important.”
“I don't wish to demean you,” I said to the strange boy.
“However, can you explain why an important delegate like you would need to steal so many expensive chocolates for such a mission?”
“It was necessary,” replied the boy.
“How else was I supposed to make them share in celebration.
You know the wise saying, don't you?”
“What wise saying?” we asked with interest.
“Delectable treats can achieve great feats!” shouted the boy.
“Did it work?” we asked with greater curiosity.
“Yes, but only for a short while,” he replied in a dejected voice.
“The chocolates were so delicious that they started fighting over them.”

Mack Dagger is a millionaire, who, since he was a little boy, has dreamed of flying to space. Now his dream is going to come ture. Mack gave the U.S. NASA Base ten million dollars to escort him on their next trip to space. After several weeks of travelling, Mack and the rest of the crew were ready to take off.
Mack stepped into the spaceship. He was still fascinated with all the buttons and gadgets inside the aircraft. He knew not to touch anything. He was just along as a passenger.
The four other astronauts were there to take care of everything they need on their two-week trip. They were heading out to do a routine check on one of the U.S. satellites that had been launched out into space over four years ago.
Once everyone was in and strapped in, the astronauts began to filp switches, call out orders and check monitors displaying information. Mack's family was at the launch pad. He saw them out the window. They were waving, his youngest daughter was crying. And then the crew leader called out,"Ready team. Four, three, two, one, blast off!"
