鏡片，具有一個或者多個曲面的透明材料，其透過調節進入眼睛的光亮從而達到矯正視力、保護眼睛安全或者在臨床上治療眼病的作用。 鏡片可分為以下三種，玻璃鏡片、樹脂鏡片、太空鏡片（PC鏡片）。鏡片光學設計決定視覺效果，市面上常見的面型設計有球面鏡片、非球面鏡片、雙非球面鏡片及多焦點漸進片等。 近視度數不同的人需要鏡片的度數也不同，300度以下選擇1.56折射率即可，300度以上選擇1.60、1.67或1.74折射率的更合適。
